pmwm > Roseate Spoonbill spooning. They are a filter feeder and swing there spoon shaped bill back and forth in the water picking up little yummie type goodies.

pmwm > Little White Egret coming in to the Ding Breakfast Bar...The Ibis probe for good on the bottom and stir up the occasional shrimp that the Egrets try and snatch. it gets pretty picky and aggressive.

pmwm > The Black Wing Tips of the White Ibis are stronger than the white feathers. As they Ibis takes off it often beats the water with its wing tips and has so adapted the black, stronger feathers where the feather meets the water.

pmwm > Yellow Crowned Night Heron and Rocky Racoon...the Coon was not interested in the bird and left him alone.

pmwm > Among the Mangroves on SW Florida...here there is open water and the bottom is rather sandy and firm..it is covered with clams and other living things. Which when the tide goes out is a feeding ground for the wading birds.
